Joe, I'm sure he was only having fun with it. You are right in warning about tying knots with flex supplies. A kinked flex supply will not let much water through. When possible, getting the right size is nice as are gentle loops. A real professional job is with the chrome plated rigid copper, which is a bit hard for homeowners. Terry : If you read my message again, you would realize I was pointing out to Ralph that he should WANT to find the right length line, and not even consider tying knots in one that is too long. : If a person doesn't WANT to find the right tool for the job, they shouldn't do the job in the first place. Braided lines for toilet water supply connections are readily available.
