I am remodling a laundry room into a bathroom. There is a floor joist between the proposed location of the toilet and the existing waste pipe, is there any way that I can cut a 3 inch hole in the 2x10 joist? If I go below the joist I will be below the waste pipe. If I decide to run a new line, can I vent just outside the house (without going all the way to the roof line) and how high does it have to be? |
