|In response to Re: Pedestal Sink|
I recently purchase a pedestal sink. Any suggestion as to how to secure the top (sink) to the wall? Do I need to put 2x4 up behind the pedestal sink?
The two by four behind the sink is a good idea. Nailed or screwed to studs in the wall. Some drywall repair may be needed if the lav does not cover.
Some people use toggle bolts into the drywall. This will not support as much weight.
Remember to caulk where the sink meets the wall.
