|In response to Re: Converting a Portabnle Dishwasher to Under The Counter|
If it is a convertible one, the installation is rather easy and straight forward. If it is a conventional portable, then you have to drill holes in the side for the water and drain connections to pass through. The cabinet height may be less than normal when the casters and top are removed.
: A friend is closing on a house in a month and one of the things he wants to do is put the dishwasher, currently a portable, under the counter near the sink. There is plenty of room to do this. I'm pretty comfortable doing the plumbing on the hot water inlet and drain, but not sure where to start on the dishwasher end.
: Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks.
