Only if it is coming from a leak around or at the water supplies at the top of the tank. : I noticed my Natural Gas Hot Water Heater had a small amount of water leaking from around feet at base of unit, when I removed the Gas/Pilot inspection cover there was approx. 1/2" of water laying in lip around bottom of unit. : I dried this water, however, it returned : Before I purchase a new tank, could this be a repairable leak ? : Thanks : John Burns
