As far as you have to as long as it has puward slope. : I'm installing a half-bath (shower & sink) in my garage for my handicapped mother-in-law to use while she's here. I have fairly easy access to a drain line, but I'm not so sure about a vent. I have a bonus room over the garage, so putting in a new vertical vent is a non-starter. How far horizontally can I stretch from my install to get to a vent line and still have an effective vent?
