Dad is putting addition on home. I (eldest son) am pseudo-plumber. We are installing a new laundry tub (individually trapped with 1 1/2" pvc above floor level) and shower (again, individually trapped but with 2" pcv and below floor level). If you can picture, 1 1/2 line (laundry tub) comes down from floor level (distance from trap discharge to horizontal transition is about 40 inches), ties into horizontal drain line for approx. 4 ft.and changes to 2" line before shower system ties in. I plan to drop straight down from shower trap outlet and tie into drain line with a sanitary wye and then tie the vent lines (for 1 1/2 and 2 inch) into the system from the vertical drop from each trap but before the horizontal tie-in to the drain line (within Wisc. code limits - 3 ft from weir for 1 1/2, 4 ft from weir for 2). Will use simple "T" fittings to tie vent system into vertical drops then run remaining length of vent system up through knee wall around shower and through roof. HELP !?!?!?!?!?!?!!?
