: I am pondering the age old question of replacing our bathtub. The problem is we have a 12" ledge along the long side of the tub which leaks, I'd like to install a whirlpool tub but the drain would be off center for a bigger tub (which we would like to do). My question is without busting concrete to move the drain what are other options or solutions???? Mark, The only thing i can think of is to build a false floor. You will lose ceiling height that way. In the long run cutting the floor will make a better job. Just my thoughts.Dale's Plumbing Service LMP
