: Thanks for your last answer, it helped a lot! I have a new question. In my new house the shower fixture : is the type that has one control for both hot and cold water. Even if I turn it all the way to hot it still is : not hot enough. I know it isn't the hot water tanks (I have 2 and they are turned up pretty high. Also, I : can run a jacuzzi bath full of water and it;s plenty hot) Is there anything I can adjust to remedy this? : I don't know how to adjust the amount of hot/cold water that runs through this faucet (ie is there something : on the actual pipe that I could change to get less cold water??) and how would I do that? : Thank you!! Your shower faucet may be a pressure balance scauld guard faucet. There may be a knob behind the handle for adjustments. Try and give us the name of this faucet and model # if you can find it.
