My water heater is on its last legs and needs replacement. A coworker is offering to sell a used water heater (less than one year) , possibly a GE model for much less than a new one. What should I be concerned about when looking it over and is there any reason to worry about sitting water inside the tank causing corrosion or bacteria build up? From what I can tell this unit received relatively low use from the owner. Thanks in advance for any help. |
