|In response to Re: Gas Heater Problem|
: This is not exactly a remodeling problem, but I thought someone might be able to help. We have a 20,000 BTU gas heater with three ceramic tiles. The left tile is burning a medium blue/red color and a blue flame is rising about 4 inches from the tile, upward.
: I am concerned about the safety of this. The center and righthand tiles are ok. Thank you for any help you can give.

G. Patton, shut the gas off and take the unit apart and use a compresser to blow clean the burner assembly. Put it back together and see the results. If they are better great,if not then you may want to replace some worn parts or replace the unit. But clean first, I think that will solve the problem.
