In response to Re: Clogged sink and disposal.
: I have a double kitchen sink with one side containing a garbage disposal. Water is standing in both sides of the sink and draining very slowly. I've tried drain cleaners, I've taken the pipes apart and attempted to clean them with an auger. When I put the pipes back together, not only did they leak, but the problem had not been solved...HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dwayne, You need to snake out the drain line from the sink to the main line where it branches off. If you have a one story house and you have a vent pipe comeing out the roof by the sink I usually fill the sink with water then go up on the roof with my machine and snake it down the kit sink vent till the sink starts draining. You may need a professional drain cleaning company to do this for you. Dale's Plumbing Service LMP
