|In response to Re: running toilet|
: I have a very old toilet that constantly runs. It runs
: via the over flow pipe , not the flapper. If I bend the
: float arm to stop it, the tank only fills 2/3 full.
: If I bend the float arm to fill the tank, the running
: problem returns. I can't install a "master plumber"
: replacement kit, because the nut underneath the tank
: is frozen.
C.P.C. you will have to take a hacksaw blade and cut this frozen nut in two. It may be easier to just remove the tank off the bowl to do this. The toilet is made of china and can break,,so maybe you might want a licenced plumber to do this job. Just my thoughts. Dale Peck LMP
