copper vs cpvc

Terry, Your FAQ area says you prefer copper pipe when repiping a house. Why? The CPVC seems easier to install and less expensive. It is approved in our area. I can't find anyone who can give me a good reason to go with copper. Thanks for your time. Mike O'Neill
