I have a bath tub that is appx. 35 yrs old and the finish is worn and scratched. I am considering replacing the tub but am told that if the tub is cast iron, that I should refinish it instead. How do I tell if the tub is cast iron without destroying it. Secondly, an Americast replacement tub is only $225 from Home Depot, so is it really worth refinishing? |
