: Hi
: I have a quick question for anyone who can help. I bought a house about a year ago and quickly found that the toilet doesn't fully flush most of the time. It seems that it flushes good about every third time or so. I have checked my vent, it seems clear. I have checked the drop in my waste line which is about 1 inch per 4 feet. I have checked the waste pipe at the toilet and it is clear. I seen the earlier posting that mentioned the possibility of clogged flush holes but thet appear to be open too. I am totally baffled with this and have been told that a cheap toiulet can cause this problem, is this true and if it is what is makes this happen? Is there anything else thta can cause this problem? Mark

Mark, if you have a 1.6gal flush stool it can give you problems if you are not used to them. The only other thing i can think of is a partially plugged sewer line. If you have other toilets working then that would elimanate that problem.Try a power flush toilet.Dale Peck LMP
