Leaking Shower

I have suddenly discovered on a 2nd floor fiberglass shower a leak. Of course I noticed this as water was streaming through the ceiling drywall. I dont know if the drain is plugged but will snake out the line as a first step. I dont know if the backed up water would cause some sort of leak, but I had noticed in the past few days there was a small puddle of water in the basin. So the big question is this, assuming I clean the line what next, how do I repair the leak or what should I look for to repair. Thanks for the help.
