: We are installing the new sink where a cabinet style was. What do we have to do to prepare the wall to support the sink? : Angela, You need to follow the manufactures instructions. If it is a wall hung or pedestal lav you will have to install a 2x6 in the wall to hold the hangers for the lav. Get the height measurements from the maker of the lav, The 2x6 is usually between 28-33 inches off the floor. But again check your rough-in measurements. Dale Peck LMP |
