Scott---: Sounds like the sprinkler guys have installed a vacuum breaker on the water supply line to your new system. The most annoying type is the little brass type that screws onto a hose bibb, and then the set screw is broken off so that it can't be removed. There are other kinds of devices used on sprinkler systems, like the watts dual check valve, it's legal and makes no noise... Lots of luck...Bud
: Lawn sprinkler installers tapped into our water supply. When they finished, every time we turn the water on in any part of our house, we hear a whistling noise. Any suggestions?
