Ernie B. :--Copper can deliver 100 years plus service life, it just needs a little help to stand up to todays evironment of high ambient electrical influences and a deteriorating quality in our water supplies. There are options available to improve the track record for copper piping and fittings....Bud.
: Most of the copper tubing hot and cold is starting to leak after 25 years in service. The water is public and has not effected any other homes in the area. Some areas of the tubing have large build up around the leaking areas( greenish color). The fittings are OK but the leaks are in the Scovill L piping itself.
