In response to Re: Leaking interior polybutylene pipes
: I have polybutylene pipes in my house with copper fittings. I recently noticed one of the pipes starting to leak. It's actually leaking somewhere in the wall, so I can't see how bad it is, but it doesn't leak to bad (yet).

: My question is simple: I've heard about different lawsuits covering the repair and possible replacements of PB pipes. Does anyone have more info on a lawsuit that would cover PB pipes:
: - with copper fittings
: - leaking in November 1999

:
: Thanks,

Boy, do I LOVE passing on this info. I got my house re-piped by calling Consumer Plumbing Recovery Center at 800-876-4698. Be firm and be persistent. And, call NOW! My entire house was almost flooded...luckily I was home when it sprung the leak.

Good Luck
Kathy
