: We are retiling our bathroom and the tub faucets are stuck. Any advice on how to get them loose? We've already tried WD-40. I think the fixtures are what you call a compression faucet (with part of the fixture back in the wall.) Thanks for any help you can provide.

Now is the best time to replace that old faucet with a new pressure balanced faucet now that you are in the midst of retiling. You won't find a better time for it. If you are inclined to remove and repair the stems, you may need to take out more tile to get the part of the stem that takes a wrench or pliers. Terry
