: Our kitchen drain was almost all stopped, only letting the water through slowly. We applied Liquid Plumr two times, and it's better, although after running the water for approx. a minute, it starts filling up to the top again. Would you suggest another application of LP, or snaking it, or another product? Is it safe to snake it now that we have put the LP in there? We have lived in this house for 6 years, it's about 30 years old, and has always had tempermental drains.

: Thanks,

Beverly, I would suggest snakeing the drain. If you add a better drain cleaner like Thrift it can create a clog because the line is almost pluged now. After snakeing the line then add a bacterier type drain cleaner in the evening and let it work over night. If you have a ranch style house and a vent comeing out the roof above the kit sink I would clean the drain from there. Less messier. Hire a proffessional drain cleaner. Dale Peck LMP
