Talking of old pedestal sinks, I have one that is of an undetermined age. Here's my problem, though. I want to install it in my bathroom. I just bought the fixtures for it. They're American Standard and are three individual pieces, not a single unit. However, not knowing much about plumbing, I failed to realize that the spreads would be different. The spread on the sink is 10". The spread on my new fixture is only 8". Any suggestions anyone? Can I get a 10" spread that I can attach the taps and faucet to? Or do i have to buy a brand new (modern) pedestal sink? Thanks in advance, Tim.
