: I think the toilet is not vented properly. It drains water slowly down
: . The sinks on the same line worked much better with an island vent. Would a self
: venting toilet fix my problem. There is no easy way to get the proper vent on the plumber
: without damaging custum tile and other finish work.
: If a self vent toilet will work which one should I use?
Mark, before you go and spend any money, take a mirror and look under the rim of the stool and see if the flush holes are plugged with calcium. If so call a licenced plumber and have him take a coat hanger and poke these holes out and then give your bowl an acid treatment useing muratic acid.If calcium isn't the problem maybe Terry can help on the self venting toilet.
