: I want to install a toilet in a basement, : The area where it will go is where the Hot water tank : was in the past (before natural gas). In the area I have the toile drain (PVC) that goes into the cement floor (can't see the cast iron part) : 1. Can I hook up another pcv T part at the bottom, as low as I can put it and run in horizontally and then hook up to the toilet using a sub floor? : 2. There is a vent pipe passing through that area, it's a 1 1/2 " DWV pipe from the laundry room. Can I hook up to it for the toilet vent ot do I need to pass a new one (1 1/2' ?) to the roof? : Thank you... : Dan, Please reply (forward) to my email, danielo@bmts.com
