|In response to Re: Bath Faucet Woes|
: The transition stem that changes the water from bath to shower broke off, not only the metal part, but also the part that attaches it to the entire faucet package. The stem broke off so close to the spout that it is impossible to replace that part. It looks as though the whole faucet needs replaced. So far, the knobs are off and the faucet remains... how do I get the faucet off? Looks as though all the parts are plastic. HELP!
Lauren, If you have to pull a knob on top of the spout to get the water to come out of the shower then you need to change only the spout.Unscrew the spout or it may have an allen screw underneath the spout that you need to unscrew to get the spout off. Good luck with your project. Dale Peck. LMP
