: : : We're replacing an old tub with a fiberglass tub and shower (two pieces). Should these pieces be connected or installed by themselves? If they should be joined, how would you recommend?

: : : Thanks in advance.

: : Jason, When you purchaced this unit it should have come with instructions. You should follow the manufactures instructions. This unit may bolt together,or snap together. If you have no instructions go back to the dealer and have him get them to you. Dale peck LMP

: Dale,
: We bought the unit clearanced at a "going out of business" sale, and it came without instructions. There is no indication in the design that it snaps together. What is the most common way of installing these?
: Jason

Jason, there may be parts missing. It has to have clips or it has to bolt together. I have not seen any that justs sits on top. Use silacone between the sections. Perhaps you may need a professional plumber to look it over,as if it leaks later on after installation you will wish you had called one.. Hope this helps. Dale Peck, LMP
