|In response to Re: Hot shower water runs out!|
: I just moved into a house that uses well water. The water is heated in the oil boiler, there is no hot water tank.
: The shower had an old shower head which releases plenty of water and pressure. This may be contributing to the problem. The hot water in the kitchen and bathroom sink comes out so hot that you have to be careful using it.
: According to the oil company, the boiler checked out to be okay and the temperature setting seem to be fine. What temp settings for the water should be used on the boiler? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated?
Mr kelly, scalding is not fun! call a licenced master plumber to check this out. The temp settings should be around 180 low 200 high. But you should have a mixing valve off the boiler to prevent scaulding. perhaps this mixing vale is bad or you don't have one. Install one if needed. Hope this helps.Dale Peck LMP
