: Roots from our trees and shrubs invade the main sewer line to the street creating slow drains and backups and overflows. : We've used store-bought, flushable root killer with some success. But we're wondering if regular rock salt would do the trick. Or is there Jon, If you have cast iron pipe salt will eat it up. Try root-x I understand it works real well.
