I recently install a new American Standard 3 valve bath/shower faucet.I am
unable to completely stop water flow from the shower head when the bath faucet
is in use. The shower flows well when the diverter is turned
to select the shower. How do I remove the diverter to inspect/replace it?
The faucet is a modern washerless cartridge type design. The stem
for the diverter valve appears to be made of a nylon/plastic
material. Any help you can provide is gratefully appreciated.
The faucet has been in service about 3 months.
