dean:--The pretty blue color is Copper Sulfate or Copper Chloride and it is coming from inside the copper piping. Copper leaching is the result of electrolytic corrosion and can be controlled by eliminating the DC electrical current that fuels the process. It is some times much easier to fight fire with fire by installing a device that overwhelms the corrosion process with an abundence of Magnesium ions.
