There are several different thread sizes, but the most common ones are 1 1/2" IPS, which is probably what you have, and the Price-Pfister fine thread. The replacement drain fitting are made with both threads. : Replaced bathtub fixtures with new brass ones. Found that the brass drain and strainer was larger than the one I removed. Where can I get info on how to size these for the correct replacement in brass?
