Has anyone ever heard of a sand line drain field system? Apparently it is similar to a conventional drain field, however it is placed deeper in the ground (8-10 feet) and the effluent drains through not only a gravel bed, but also a sand bed (approximately 24"). I would like to know the pros and cons of this type of system, particulaly if it endangers ground water since it is deeper in the ground. Thanks, Jeff Summers |
