The answer to that is simple. You CANNOT AND MUST NOT vent it to the chimney. That would be a perfect way to fill the house with carbon monoxide fumes. You need a separate pipe from the dryer to the exterior of the house. : TERRY, I JUST PERCHASED A MAYTAG ATLANTIS DRYER. HOW CAN I VENT IT TO MY GAS BOILER'S FLU. DRYER IS LOCATED JUST OUTSIDE BOILER ROOM 4 TO 5 FEET FROM FLU. I AM OWNER OF HOME WHERE DRYER WILL BE INSTALLED & HANDY WITH PLUMBING. THANKS RALPH.
