In response to Re: huge gap between shower floor and lowest wall tiles

: An uneven gap has developed between the last row of wall tiles and the ceramic tile floor of my 3 x 3 tile shower. On one side this gap reaches as much as 1 inch and 1/8, while on the other side it is a more normal gap that could be re-grouted or caulked. This developed when I let the shower dry out for a long period, putting off the chore of re-grouting many of the wall tiles. Why did this gap develop, and what can I do to eliminate it or fill it? Am thinking I'll have to crawl under the house and see if the shower pan has settled unevenly and if it could be shimmed up somehow.

Wow!
It sounds like the shower is ready to drop into the crawlspace. a one inch gap on one side and no gap on the other, is not a good thing. Terry
