Heating water will always cause a fluctuation. The relief valve should be set for 30#, which is more than the max 22# you are getting. Replace the relief valve and also be sure that you are completely draining the expansion tank. If it is not leaking, unless it is a bladder type, then there is no reason to change it. If it is a bladder type, but the air pressure does not leak out, or water does not come out of the air inlet, then it is also probably Okay. : Terry, : I have noticed the pressure in my furnace is causing the : Thanks,
