|In response to Re: installing a new bathroom P trap|
from your description, the cheapest thing would be to call the plumber first. That way they would not have to take it apart again, and you would not have to buy and install the parts. But seriously, you have to buy the pipes that let you line up the drain properly. Buying the flexible pipe is most of your problem.
: Everytime I remodel a bathroom or install a new sink I cannot get the new drain to match up to the existing drain form the wall or the new sink, I run back to the hardware store I buy flexible pipe and all I get is mismatch or leaks. I ask my wife to call a plumber and they charge me $ 150.00 and tear out everything that I install. Surely there is an easy install proceedure for this. The instructions in the packets seem simple enoughbut for what ever reason I'm not getting it right. What do you suggest? Thanks greatly!
