I have inherited a basement bath which has a concrete block shower with a concrete floor. I want to ceramic tile the floor (and walls), which will necessitate tearing out some of the concrete immediately surrounding the drain and probably moving the drain a little. Question:the concrete is obviously on earth, possibly gravel...is a waterproof membrane necessary? Thanks. |
