We have recently developed the following condition: just as the toilet tank in our upstairs bathroom finishes filling - following a flush, obviously - a loud rattle occurs in the cold water inflow pipe, seemingly in the laundry room (also upstairs but a fair distance from the bathroom). Is trapped air in the pipe is what causes a rattle like this? What's the fix? |
