|In response to Re: Double Kitchen Sink Drain Traps|
This is a strange requirement, since the connections for the two traps into a "Y", is often considered an illegal connection, because a certain velocity in one trap could siphon the seal in the other one.
: We're fixing up a house to sell and have been told that local ordinances require a trap for each drain on a double kitchen sink. I can't even picture how this would be configured. I haven't found where the local hardware/plumbing houses have a standard kit for this. Any chance you can help explain?
