In response to Re: Double Kitchen Sink Drain Traps
: We're fixing up a house to sell and have been told that local ordinances require a trap for each drain on a double kitchen sink. I can't even picture how this would be configured. I haven't found where the local hardware/plumbing houses have a standard kit for this. Any chance you can help explain?

Sounds funny. I can't see two traps being more functional than a single trap for both sinks. You won't find a kit to do this, but it's very do-able with parts if you must. Have each sink drain run into a separate trap. Add a Wye to tie the two together and run to the waste line. This will occupy a lot of the under-the-sink space. Good Luck!
