PVC and PE should only be used outdoors underground. CPVC is suitable for both hot and cold water interior piping and is chemical resistant, especially at the level you should be using. : which is used better for water supply piping, pvc, upvc, cpvc, pe? : what's the difference between these pipe types? : If I am going to continuously disinfect my water supply (household) using chlorine, which type of pipe will be chemically resistant to chlorine?
