I'm attempting to install a new toilet in my basement. Old toilet cracked and mounting flange rusted away. Left with copper pipe that is flush with concrete. Do I have to break out cement, cut copper pipe and convert (via a rubber boot) to plastic? Or can I just attach a new mounting ring to concrete and go? Should I be concerned that this may leak? What is best/easiest thing to do? |
