Water Pressure

I am on a public water system and my water pressure is too high. The pressure relief valve on the water heater leaks,(its a new house) and outside water hoses swell to twice their size.

I am going to install a water pressure reducer.

How can I check what my pressure is now and then be able to know what it is with the pressure reducer.
