low pressure natural gas pipe

I am/have currently installed 1/2" soft copper, flared to black/steel pipe and regulator w/shutoffs.
Have pressureized system to 10 #s for ten minutes w/ no leaks. Regulators closed prior to pressurization.
My question is, on the drip leg of the steel pipe, what length, will/ does southern bldg. code require
to pass inspection.
