|In response to Re: drain lines|
run a hose down the drain. If it leaks it is the drain pipe. If it does not leak, then run the water over the pipe connection to the pan to see if it is the drain seal leaking. If that does not cause the leak, then plug the drain and put water in the base. And if it still does not leak, then use the hose to water the walls to see if it is the tile seams or grout causing the leak.
: How can I tell if my drain line is leaking or my shower pan is the problem? I have a leak on my ceiling, but I cannot tell the source. One plumber said he can only tell if he digs up my wet bed floor? Thank You.
