My house was replumbed with copper 36 yrs ago. Since then there have been several leak repairs. I have noted that the last repair was on a piece repaired 10 years ago (remember this because it was our first night in the house after purchase.) The peices removed can be literaly rolled into a ball with your bare hands. I am redoing it one more time and need input. Should I use cpvc, or should I use copper combined with a treatment plan. Also how do I treat the water, other than cathodic. Would like the most cost effective route. Thank you |
