: Checked prices here...and now checking for info.

: I want to run galvanized 3/4" pipe for about 25ft from meter to mobile home.
: Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated..ie. fittings, shutoffs required? special considerations working with pipe?..
: Waiting to hear..and thanks in advance!

Ann, first of all find out if your code allows galvnized for gas under ground. we use coated gas pipe or plastic gas pipe made especially for gas with a locater wire. next find out how many btu you are useing. you may need a 1" line. propane gas should require 3/4". bury the steel line with 12" of cover, your code may say more.gas is nothing to play around with, make sure you know what your doing. the gas line needs to come up out of the ground out side of the skirting of your trailer.be careful,be wise, hire a master plumber to do this.
