: i want to replace outside faucet froze over winter and has slow leak. at eagle h-ware i see 1/2 inch 10 inch and 1/2 inch 12 inch length how do i know what i have? do i just unscrew faucet from ouside of huse and repace ?? after i shutoff main! thanks for help gil madden denver

Most plumbers will cut the wall to use a wrench on both the pipe and the faucet. It is rare that a faucet can be removed and replaced from the outside and replaced without access to the connection. If you note the link below, you will see that there are many sizes of outside faucets. Not every brand is the same length either. Terry
